With effect from 1.1.2020, Sebastian Hensel has been appointed Managing Director of the UK site. Since 2017, Sebastian Hensel has been working in the Slinfold branch – initially as a Sales Manager, since 2018 as a Sales Director and since 2019 as the General Manager.

During his vocational training in wholesale and foreign trade, Sebastian Hensel became acquainted with Hensel Recycling and the precious metals recycling industry in all its facets. Now, the IHK-certified commercial specialist has been admitted to the Board of Directors and presides over the team at the British branch as Managing Director.
In the UK location, catalytic convertors are assessed, dismantled and processed. The branch was founded in 2012 and has been continually growing since then. Hensel Recycling UK stands for transparency with its open book policy – from good receipt via processing to analysis, samplers and customers can follow every step of the process. This policy makes the company unique in the British market.
