Effective January 1, 2024, Sebastian Hensel steps into the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO), while Erik Cortese assumes the position of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Hensel Recycling North America. Concurrently, Rebecca Brown will take over the management of Hensel Recycling UK as Operations Manager.
Since 2017, Sebastian Hensel has held various positions at the UK subsidiary and was a member of the Board of Directors, most recently as Managing Director. Erik Cortese started with the company in 2010 and has been the Director of Sales since 2017.
Sebastian Hensel and Erik Cortese will jointly lead the operational management of the Hensel Recycling Group’s largest local branch. Andreas Friesen will relocate to Germany in May 2024 but will continue to guide the company’s fortunes in his capacity as President.
