On 5 October 2019, the Berufswegekompass vocational training fair took place in Aschaffenburg. The event is aimed at young people searching for orientation regarding their imminent choice of career. This year more than 100 businesses and institutions from the Aschaffenburg area took part and presented their training opportunities.

The Berufswegekompass fair has been well-attended by young people and their parents for years. There was plenty happening at our stall too, and we answered numerous questions on the vocational training courses available at Hensel Recycling. Many of the young people wanted more information on aspects such as the sustainability and family-friendly nature of the company, as well as enquiries regarding the opportunities available for further education and internships. We also welcomed a prominent guest at our stand, in the form of Mayor Jürgen Herzing.

Participation in the fair was certainly worthwhile for us, as it enabled us to once again fly the flag for Hensel Recycling as an attractive employer in the region.
