Using state-of-the-art plasma technology, we are able to recover your precious metals sustainably and efficiently. The pyrometallurgical treatment of the material is carried out in various plasma melting furnaces of our strategic partner companies.
Due to different compositions in the starting material for ceramic catalytic converters, diesel particulate filters or metal catalysts, an appropriate melting process is required. In all cases, the ceramic material is separated by means of high-temperature melting into collector metal with precious metals (platinum, palladium and rhodium) and slag. The starting material is almost completely recycled.
While the precious metal containing collector metal continues to go into refining, the resulting slag is supplied to a new use. The furnaces are electrically operated and are therefore particularly environmentally friendly.
